AERODYNAMIC AND SUPER SAFE!
Finally, we have solved our dilemma about weights! For years, we have been looking for a weight design that is safe without any dangerous edges, aesthetic, and adjustable.
The weight is made from waterjet-cut steel and sprayed with black matte color. The entire shape is formed by casting polyurethane 60A around steel plates for maximum aerodynamic and safety properties. No more fear from your weight or your friends' weight when you end up in the ditch or hay bales.
If you don't have pre-drilled holes in your deck, choose the "Yes, please" option, and we will send you this 3D printed weight holes template defined by Rocket/Happy standards. You can even drill your holes with mounted trucks or extend your baseplate options (at your own risk). This template is available for free download here.

Too sick
I've been wary of boards flipping over during bails for years now, always aiming to keep my hardware as short as possible, while engaging nylon of course. Then weights came along and the long bolts folks used to keep them attached to boards was kinda mad, let alone the shape of the weight itself often just a solid piece of metal with a minimal coating. That's why when I saw the nuke, I just had to get it, designed and made with safety in mind, there's no sharp edges, just steel plates wrapped in cast rubber. As a bonus touch, the hardware slots also come with covers, for added aero, and as Ignacio told me, if they start to come out it's because the hardware is loose. Since getting mine at KNK '24, the hardware has not loosened even once. But it's a good indicator for sure. The modular design is also pretty sick, allowing you to tune the weight between 3 options (if you buy the full set) I'm very impressed with Scythe's commitment to safety and design choices / production methods.
