About us

Who the fuck is SCYTHE?

We are a crew of skaters who make skate gear the way we want to ride it.
With Ignacio's engineering and Zed's design skills we try to push downhill (and lately also other disciplines) skateboarding to new levels.
Our gear is tuned for performance, it's not meant to suit every rider but we believe that those who like to test their limits and challenge themselves will find what they're looking for here.
We sell what we ride and we stand 100% behind it.

Why the name?

tl;dr We wanted an edgy name.

"Make it metal as fuck" was the no.1 requirement when designing the brand. Scythe sounded metal enough and it's also a play on a czech term we use when we crash each other out on the hill (which happens a lot in our crew).
We are definitely not a cult.
